The Drinkable Book – A Book Changing Lives for the Better

A book You don’t want to put down!  In partnership with Dr. Theresa Dankovich from Carnegie Mellon, WATERisLIFE introduced The Drinkable Book™, the first-ever manual that provides safe water, sanitation and hygiene education and serves as a tool to kill deadly waterborne diseases by providing the reader with an opportunity to create clean, drinkable water from each page. We are working on a variety of languages, teaching methods and ways to share the message through training, storytelling and discussions in communities and schools worldwide where there is a desperate need. Each book can provide a user with clean water for up to four years.

WATERisLIFE has introduced a campaign to move into full production of The Drinkable Book™, and with your help, we can distribute the books as part of WATERisLIFE’s integrated water, sanitation and hygiene program to save lives and transform communities, as well as make the books available for global partner distribution. Kimberly-Clark Receives Climate Leadership Award for Progress in Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Kimberly-Clark announced that it received a 2021 Climate Leadership Award for 'Goal Achievement in Greenhouse Gas Management' from the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions and The Climate Registry. The national award recognizes companies that set and achieve aggressive greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction goals."We are honored to receive this prestigious award for reducing greenhouse gas emissions across our operations, especially since we were recognized for 'Excellence in Greenhouse Gas Management & Goal Setting' as part of the Climate Leadership Awards in 2018," said Juan Marin, Global Energy and Climate Leader at Kimberly-Clark. shíshálh Nation and Interfor Sign Relationship Agreement

Interfor Corporation and shíshálh Nation have announced the recent signing of a five-year relationship agreement for mutually beneficial forestry operations in the Nation’s swiya (territory). Interfor is a major forestry tenure holder in the shíshálh Nation swiya on BC’s Sunshine Coast. The agreement is a new milestone for Interfor and the shíshálh Nation who have had a strong working relationship for more than twenty years. “This agreement was built on trust, opportunity and a long-standing relationship. It creates predictability for both Interfor and shíshálh Nation and will support further growth of our partnership over the next five years,” said Interfor’s Vice President and Chief Forester, Ric Slaco.
