PRINTING United Alliance, the most comprehensive member-based printing and graphic arts association in North America, applauds the formation of the inaugural Congressional Printing Caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives. This first-of-its-kind bipartisan Caucus will focus on advancing a public policy agenda that benefits and protects America’s printing industry and its rich, diverse, and varied communities. Wisconsin printing company Quad/Graphics Inc. will shut down its plant in Waseca, Minn. KSTP reports on the announcement by Quad/Graphics, which said that about 30 employees at the 365-person plant would stay on to support area clients, but the bulk of the plant's work will be shifted elsewhere in the country.
