Lacerta Group, LLC, a leading provider of custom and stock packaging solutions for food processors and supermarkets, has been awarded the EcoVadis Bronze status for its commitment to sustainability. This award is a testament to Lacerta's ongoing efforts to integrate circularity across its operations and supply chain. The EcoVadis Badge recognizes eligible companies that have completed their assessment process and demonstrated a relatively strong management system that addresses sustainability criteria. This recognition acknowledges achievement relative to other assessed companies. BillerudKorsnäs is in a process with the aim of divesting the paper mill in Beetham, UK. The process is ongoing and no binding agreement to divest the mill has yet been entered into. Since BillerudKorsnäs’ machine glazed (MG) paper business has primarily been focused in Skärblacka, the strategic importance of Beetham to the rest of the group has been reduced. Beetham produces kraft paper for packaging of medical equipment, food packaging and other types of industrial applications and has a capacity of around 45 000 tonnes per year. In 2020, the facility had sales of around SEK 480 million.

Amcor announced that after nine years as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ron Delia has informed the Board of Directors of his decision to retire from the Company and step down from the Board for health reasons, effective April 15, 2024. The Board has appointed Peter Konieczny, Amcor’s current Chief Commercial Officer and a long-standing member of the Company’s Global Management Team, as Interim CEO. Mr. Delia will provide continued support in an advisory role until September 30, 2024, to facilitate the transition. The Board is conducting a thorough search process to identify a permanent successor for the CEO role, which will include internal and external candidates.
