EFI Highlights Its DNA in Single-Pass Production Inkjet Printing for Packaging, Display Graphics, and Textiles at drupa 2024

Electronics For Imaging, Inc. today reported that at drupa 2024, running through 7 June at Messe Düsseldorf, it is highlighting its expertise in proven single-pass printing solutions for printing excellence in the packaging, display graphics, and textile markets. Visitors to EFI’s stand will see some of the companies latest single-pass innovations live, including the breakthrough Packsize® EFI™ X5® Nozomi, the world’s first full-colour, on-demand, right-sized box system that prints, cuts, creases, glues, and erects customised boxes at the rate of up to one box every 6 seconds, and the EFI Nozomi 14000 SD singlepass printer for sign and display. The company is also showcasing a vast array of applications produced on the brand-new Nozomi 14000 AQ true water-based, singlepass printer for corrugated packaging and displays and the Nozomi 12000 MP single-pass technology for direct-to-metal package printing, as well as the nextgeneration EFI Reggiani BOLT XS single-pass textile printer.

The HP Latex R Series brings the most vibrant colors1 into the rigid printing world, and pioneers white ink capabilities with the introduction of HP Latex White Ink. The HP Latex R series brings unparalleled speed and quality to a wide range of rigid materials, such as foamboards, foam PVC, cardboard, fluted polypropylene, solid plastics, aluminum, wood and glass among others. Unlike UV printing technology, which creates a thick layer of ink that completely covers the material, HP’s water-based Latex Inks preserve the look and feel of the media, and delivers odorless prints that are both safe for the environment and the printer operator.

Executive Changes at TC Transcontinental

*Thomas Morin named President and Chief Executive Officer *Isabelle Marcoux named Executive Chair of the Board *Donald LeCavalier named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. The Board of Directors of Transcontinental Inc. announced the appointment of Thomas Morin as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. Mr. Morin previously served as President of TC Transcontinental Packaging, beginning in 2019. He replaces Peter Brues, who is leaving the Company. The Board also announced expanded roles for Isabelle Marcoux and Donald LeCavalier.
