TC Transcontinental’s Near-Term Emissions Targets Approved by the Science Based Targets initiative

Transcontinental inc. (TSX: TCL.A TCL.B) announces an important milestone in its sustainability journey. The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has approved TC Transcontinental’s near-term science-based emissions reduction targets. From now on, these targets will serve as TC Transcontinental’s primary measurement of progress on its sustainability objectives, including energy efficiency, clean energy procurement, and the commercialization of sustainable packaging solutions such as recycle-ready packaging solutions as well as the integration of post-consumer resin (PCR) into packaging products.

The Speedmaster XL 106-7+L with anniversary cover on the printing unit will be inaugurated with a certificate on site by Heidelberg Japan and the customer. It will be the company’s second Heidelberg press alongside a Speedmaster SX 74-4-P-H chosen by the customer for its machine fleet. Ennis Announces the Rebranding of Independent Folders

Ennis, Inc. would like to announce the rebranding initiative of Independent Folders, a trade print solutions expert specializing in the highest-quality printed presentation products, large format, packaging and business check products. The company will now be referred to as Independent Printing & Packaging to encompass its ever-growing packaging capabilities. Independent Printing & Packaging began in a small shop in De Pere, WI during pre-war 1935 and specialized in printing handbills, business forms, invitations, business cards and other items for local business owners. In 1992, it expanded its services to a national level by joining trade associations and selling standard products through qualified print distributors. The company then rebranded as Independent Folders in 2012 in an effort to differentiate from local print shops serviced through the distributor channel.
