Worzalla Celebrates Associates in Month-Long “WorzallaPalooza”

Worzalla, an employee-owned company specializing in printing high-quality children’s books, movie tie-in books and cookbooks, hosted its second annual month-long event titled “WorzallaPalooza” to show appreciation to its associates. Throughout the month of July, Worzalla offered daily giveaways, including several grand prize packages.

“WorzallaPalooza is one of Worzalla’s ways of thanking our employee owners and it’s great to see everyone come together to celebrate the contributions we each make,” said Brianne Petruzalek, Worzalla Vice President of Human Resources. “We were excited to do daily giveaways again this year along with a BBQ lunch for all team members.”

In addition to each associate receiving a $20 Kwik Trip gift card and appreciation lunch catered by Smokehouse BBQ, every day in July featured a unique giveaway opportunity for Worzalla associates, including drawings for $25 to $500 gift cards from Fleet Farm, Target, Amazon as well as Portage County Business Council gift certificates to support local businesses. Three grand prize packages were awarded to Worzalla associates, including Wil Smith and Duane Kieliszewski.

Xerox Announces Sale of Elem Additive Solutions to ADDiTEC

Xerox Holdings Corporation announced it has sold Elem Additive Solutions to ADDiTEC, a leader in metal additive manufacturing solutions and applications. The sale to ADDiTEC follows Xerox’s donation of PARC to SRI International and the sale of the Xerox Research Center of Canada to Myant Capital Partners earlier this year, as the company focuses its strategic priorities and investments in innovation on core capabilities and offerings including print, IT and digital services. Since 2019, Xerox has worked to commercialize the Elem Additive technology and bring it to market. The company’s liquid metal 3D printer, ElemX, was developed to be a safer and simpler solution, addressing supply chain resiliency for transportation, aerospace, defense and industrial manufacturing.

Sappi North America Announces Winners of 2017 Printer of the Year Competition

Sappi North America, a leading producer and supplier of diversified paper and packaging products, today announced the 12 Gold Award winners of its annual North American Printer of the Year contest. Regarded as the world's most respected accolade of excellence in printed communications, this award recognizes superior innovation and creativity in print across 11 categories for work produced on Sappi papers. The 2017 winners were chosen as the most outstanding print submissions from nearly 1,500 entries. Lithographix, Inc., a premier offset and grand format printer, is this year's 2017 Printer of the Year award winner. Based in Hawthorne, Calif., the printer was selected for the book “The 4th Phase Field Guide”, printed for Red Bull Media House, which highlights a beautiful collection of images shot during an epic four year, 16,000 mile journey across the picturesque North Pacific region.
