The ACMA is excited to release the agenda for our upcoming virtual National Forum. Registartion will be announced very soon, but for now, please save the dates and plan on attending. Here are the key facts:
No ‘Zoom overload’ promised! This year’s Forum will be held entirely via a series of Zoom meetings. Following an opening session focused on the upcoming elections on September 2nd, there will be back-to-back 45-minute online sessions held on the three subsequent Wednesdays, so no, you won’t have to give up entire days or suffer from “toxic shock zoom syndrome.” The sessions will serve as a primer leading up to a day-long series of “Virtual Fly-in” meetings with Members of Congress on Wednesday, September 30th.
Cost & Attendance: Although the issues and focus will on C-level executives, attendance is complementary to all catalog/online/direct merchants and their suppliers, both ACMA members and non-members, as long as you completely fill out the brief registration form (coming soon).
What is a ‘virtual fly-in?’ As we’ve done with past on-site fly-ins to Washington, we will match up small groups of attendees with Members of Congress to discuss ACMA’s core issues and our collective needs, such as postal, privacy, tax & trade. These will occur either via Zoom meetings or conference calls (t/b/d). More details to follow soon on the specific meetings.
Sponsorship packages are available to ACMA supplier members. Click here for details. We’re offering an assortment of promotional opportunities to meet your needs and budget. We not only expect a larger audience than usual, but your sponsorship is a great way to let your clients and prospects know you’re here and ready to gain their business. Will this become the ‘new normal?’ NO. We have all intentions to return to Washington in 2021 and beyond with our in-person events once such gatherings and air travel are all completely safe again.
