“The victors represent a widely diverse group, from iconic properties like London’s Claridge’s hotel and Tucson’s Canyon Ranch resort to innovators such as the Whitepod in Valais, Switzerland, which houses guests in mountainside pods, and Miami Beach’s 1 Hotel, which is setting a new standard in eco-minded luxury,” added Newill. “We recognize leading names in the culinary world—from Basque pioneer Juan Mari Arzak to gastronomic magician José Andrés—and nightlife fixtures including Singapore’s 28 HongKong Street and Las Vegas’ Tao. We also travel to Paris to profile acclaimed chef Gregory Marchand, whose bistro Frenchie has captivated food lovers throughout the world.
“Featured also are celebrity Platinum List experts including chef Nina Compton, who steps inside New Orleans’ classic French 75 at Arnaud’s, and television host Samantha Brown, who visits the venerable King Cole Bar in New York’s St. Regis. We know this issue will become a must-read for luxury travelers everywhere.”
